I first joined CrossFit when I was in high school in hopes to enhance my game on the soccer field. Little did I know that 10 years later, I would become a CrossFit coach. The competition meddled with a family environment not only made me a better athlete but a better person. I pursued both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Athletic Training where I was able to tie together injury prevention, functional movements, and strength training with my previous CrossFit experience– •Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training (Oregon State University) •Passed my Boards as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2017 •Master’s of Science in Athletic Training (Missouri State University) •Graduate Assistant for MSU Women’s Beach Volleyball •CF Level 1 & Coach (2019) •Athletic Trainer at Monett High School (2020) Throughout my journey in life thus far, I have embraced the growth that comes with being uncomfortable: whether it’s a rigorous workout, a tough life decision, or dealing with adversity, being uncomfortable produces growth! This mentality has helped define my passion of supporting others in being their best selves in all aspects of life. Within CrossFit, my strategy as a coach is to combine my Athletic Training background of functional movements and my love for exercise. I want to aid individuals in reaching their fitness/health/life goals and CrossFit is an amazing avenue to do just that. I don’t take this position for granted and I am here to serve you first as a person, then athlete. I want you to feel welcomed, supported, and challenged with me as your coach.
